chrooted SFTP with OpenSSH 5

Almost a year without an update. How shameful... Anyhow, here's an article describing the configuration for a new feature in OpenSSH >4.9. The long-awaited, must praised chrooted SFTP!!  Read on for the tutorial.

Ubuntu Linux on a Macbook Pro v3

So I bought a mac. Strange, I know. It came down to me quickly needing a laptop for a contract job I recently got in NYC. So when faced with $3000 Sony laptops, and Dell laptops with shipping dates that were 2+ weeks out, I buckled and bought the very recently release "Santa Rosa" based Macbook Pro 2.2ghz. Obviously my plans when buying a computer were to find one that worked well with Linux. The Macbook mostly fits the bill. Read on for my install notes and reactions...

Outlook/Exchange 2007 AutoDiscovery?

One amazing new feature that Microsoft's Outlook 2007 has implemented is called "AutoDiscovery". Basically, this feature can automatically fill out your email server information for you, based on your email address. What a neat feature! What isn't neat about it, is how Microsoft has implemented the feature though...
